For over 150 years Glasgow Care Foundation has been assisting families and individuals in Glasgow who cannot get help from any other agency, with essential household items.
We also support local community projects, holidays for families and supermarket vouchers at Christmas. We act as Trustee for five smaller charities and administer grants for a Fund caring for people with an incurable health issue.
Our income comes from capital investments, bequests, legacies and donations. We do not receive any funding from local or national government.
Due to the economic climate the demand for help is ever increasing. If you or your company are considering ‘Adopting a Charity’ or organising any fund-raising events, we would very much appreciate you considering the Glasgow Care Foundation as a potential beneficiary.
