Ion

Ion is the current Chief Operating Officer at GlassDollar, a company they co-founded. Ion has also previously served as a Venture Partner at BSH Home Appliances Group, a management consultant at Oliver Wyman, and a lecturer and research fellow at Heidelberg University.

Ion has always been interested in entrepreneurship and technology. Ion co-founded their first startup while still a student at Heidelberg University and went on to work in various startups and accelerators in Germany and Asia. In 2018, they joined BSH Startup Kitchen as a Venture Partner, where they helped startups grow their businesses in the home appliances industry.

Ion is a strong believer in the power of technology to transform businesses and industries. Ion has consulted leading international organizations on digital transformation and strategy development, and has lectured on the topic of digitalization and its impact on businesses.

Ion received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from Heidelberg University. They also have a degree in Physics from The University of Queensland. In addition, Ion has a Diploma in Physics from Heidelberg University. They also have certification from SDI TDI ERDI in Technical Diver, PADI in Rescue Diver, and Scrum Alliance in Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
