Marilena is a key account manager and employer branding specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the hospitality industry. Marilena is skilled in quickly building trusted relationships with clients, identifying their needs and challenges, and designing effective strategies that deliver optimum results.

At their previous company, hosco, Marilena launched and led the employer branding division, making it the company’s highest revenue stream and a key lead generation channel for the rest of the commercial team. Marilena also executed all employee value proposition (EVP) assessments for hosco’s clients, consulted with them on how to strategically design and execute their EV strategy and recruitment process, and analysed performance data to prepare monthly reports with recommendations for optimizing talent attraction, engagement and retention. In addition, Marilena moderated panel discussions at the Hosco Summit on topics covering the war of talent, talent trends and employer branding.

Some of Marilena’s notable achievements include making the largest upsell in hosco’s 7-year history, accelerating their learning to take on the role of mentor for the junior commercial team, and leading the Talent Trend Report in partnership with Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne.

Marilena has a Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management from the Diplôme d’Economiste d’entreprise HES, with a speciality in Entrepreneurship. Marilena also has a Foundation diploma in Visual Arts/ Industrial Design from the Ecole Cantonal d’Art de Lausanne. Marilena has a High School diploma in mathematics, economics and accountancy from Linopetra High School.
