Andrew D.

Andrew D. has a diverse work experience in software engineering roles. Andrew is currently working as a Software Engineer at Glassnode since March 2022. Before that, they worked at auteon as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2020 to March 2022. In this role, they led the Inventory team and was responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining their inventory service and integration of external part providers. Andrew also designed and implemented a streaming data pipeline for tracking app usage and metrics using Cloud Logging, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and BigQuery.

Prior to auteon, Andrew worked at Fineway GmbH as a Senior Software Engineer from May 2018 to October 2020. Andrew led the Trip Personalization Engine Team and provided APIs and data for trip personalization. Andrew was also a member of the Architecture Board, which provided guidelines and concepts for the organization's architecture and roadmaps. Additionally, they developed an accommodation matching interface for the internal sales team to improve hotel inventory recommendations.

Before Fineway GmbH, Andrew worked at smartwork solutions GmbH as a Senior Software Developer from July 2015 to January 2018. Their responsibilities included planning and defining feature development requirements, designing and implementing the SMASHDOCs redlining module, configurauring and implementing the SMASHDOCs Asset API, and refactoring the data model layer to use MongoEngine. Andrew also conducted interviews and evaluated prospective candidates.

Andrew's earlier experience includes working as a Software Developer at Universitätsbibliothek der TU München from August 2013 to June 2015 and as an Intern at emnos from October 2011 to March 2012.

From 2008 to 2013, Andrew D. pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2011, they also attended the Technical University of Munich for a brief period, studying Computer Science.
