Javier Abril Ibáñez

Javier Abril Ibáñez is an experienced data scientist with a strong background in machine learning and deep learning applications, particularly in astronomy. Currently serving as an Ethereum Data Scientist at Glassnode since July 2022, Javier has previously worked at cdmon, where responsibilities included the development of machine learning algorithms and neural networks across various sectors. As a PhD researcher at the European Southern Observatory from June 2018 to February 2020, Javier collaborated with leading experts in machine learning within the field of astronomy. Earlier experience includes operating telescopes and managing data at the Centro de Estudios de Física del Cosmos de Aragón. Javier holds a PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, a Master's degree in Astrophysics from VIU, and an Engineering degree in Topography and Cartography from Universitat Politècnica de València.
