Luis da Silva

Luis da Silva has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of digital product design. Luis is currently working at Glassnode as a Senior Mobile Product Designer since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Bitcoin Suisse AG as a Digital Product Designer from March 2021 to September 2022. Before that, they were employed at jayway by devoteam as a Digital Product Designer from November 2019 to March 2021.

Luis also worked at LEO Innovation Lab as a Digital Product Designer from January 2018 to November 2019, where they were involved in the development of a digital mobile product for people with skin conditions. During this time, they improved the application experience and visually rebranded Imagine, resulting in increased user retention and acquisition.

Earlier in their career, Luis worked as a Lead Designer at Wine 'n Dine from August 2017 to September 2018. Luis was responsible for enhancing the user experience of the app and supporting the business in making design decisions.

Before that, they worked at Novoda as a Digital Product Designer from September 2015 to August 2017. In this role, Luis ensured the creation and delivery of high-quality apps through design sprints and collaboration with clients. Luis worked closely with clients such as Channel 4 UK, CCleaner, and AutoScout24.

Luis began their career at 44 Studio as a Digital Designer from December 2013 to August 2015. Luis worked with various remote startups, designing interfaces, websites, brand identities, and marketing materials. Prior to that, they worked at ARG Estudio Design as a Web, Graphic, and Motion Designer from October 2011 to June 2012.

Luis also worked as a freelancer, specializing in UI/UX design, web design, and motion design from 2009 to 2012.

Luis da Silva began their education in 2009 at EPRAL - Escola Profissional da Região Alentejo, where they studied Digital Design and Multimedia. Luis completed their studies in 2012. In 2012, they attended EDIT. - Disruptive Digital Education, where they earned a degree in UI & UX Design, specializing in Mobile/Table Design & Development for iOS. In 2013, they further enhanced their skills by attending MezzoLab, where they completed a User Interface/User Experience MasterClass in Mobile App Design & Pixel Perfection.
