Rafael S.

Rafael S. has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as Co-Founder & CTO at Glassnode AG, where they focused on analyzing blockchain data and providing market intelligence using data science and machine learning. Prior to that, they worked at WATTx as the Head of Data Science, where they led the Data Science team and worked on various projects involving data science, engineering, and machine learning challenges. Additionally, they co-developed a privacy-by-design data science platform called statice.io, conducted anomaly detection using unsupervised machine learning on industrial machine data, and helped develop a scalable data infrastructure for Glassnode. Before WATTx, Rafael held positions at resmio GmbH, EyeQuant (WhiteMatter Labs GmbH), Enthought Inc., Berlin Brain-Computer Interface (BBCI) Group, and the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences.

Rafael S. has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Cognitive Science from the Universität Osnabrück. Rafael also has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computational Neuroscience from the Technische Universität Berlin.
