Gordon Dear

Gordon Dear is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Global Director of Disposition and Biotransformation in DMPK at GlaxoSmithKline, they lead a multidisciplinary global department focused on characterizing and understanding the biological mechanisms of ADME for new medicines. Gordon's past roles within GlaxoSmithKline include DMPK Director and Head of Investigative Safety and Drug Metabolism, where they guided efforts in drug metabolism studies and safety testing. They earned a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Imperial College London and a first-class BSc in Biochemistry from Kingston University.
