John Eicher

John Eicher is currently a Director in the Human Genetics and Genomics group at GSK, where they focus on target identification and validation for neurodegenerative diseases. They previously served as a Senior Scientist at Merck, applying human genetics in the study of neurodegenerative and psychiatric diseases. John completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, examining the genetics of cardiovascular traits, and earned a PhD in Genetics from Yale University, researching the genetic components of language impairments. Throughout their career, John has co-authored over 50 articles and contributed to several significant research collaborations.
