Lena Eismann is an accomplished researcher with a strong background in biochemistry and biology. With experience as a Research Associate at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center, Lena focused on lysophospholipid signaling in glioma cells. After obtaining a Master's degree in Biochemistry from Medizinische Hochschule Hannover, where Lena graduated top of the class, a PhD in Biology was attained at DKFZ from 2013 to 2019. Currently serving as an Associate Director in Computational Biology at GSK since November 2024, Lena leads cross-functional teams in analyzing scRNAseq/CITEseq and pooled CRISPR screen data, while developing oncology causal and gene regulatory networks. Prior to this role, work included a master's thesis on the regulatory mechanisms of TNFα biosynthesis, contributing to therapeutic approaches for chronic inflammatory diseases.
