Patrick Canning is currently a Senior Scientist at GSK since November 2022, following a position as a Scientist in Engineering at Merck from November 2019 to October 2022. Prior experience includes working as an Upstream Biologics Processing Scientist at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Professional Scientific Services, where responsibilities focused on large-scale bioreactors. Patrick began a strong academic background in biomedical engineering with an undergraduate research assistant role under Dr. Megan Killian at the University of Delaware while also being a student athlete. Earlier work experiences include roles as a mover at Holman Moving Systems and a line cook at Charcoal Pit. Currently, Patrick is pursuing a Master of Engineering in Engineering/Industrial Management at Johns Hopkins University, building on a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
