Robert Lai is currently the Vice President and Clinical Development Lead in Neuroscience at GSK, where they lead multi-functional clinical matrix teams in the development of new medicines. With over 20 years of experience as a clinical neurologist and general physician, Robert has previously held positions such as Senior Director at Eisai Europe Ltd and Director at GSK, focusing on various neurological disorders and clinical project leadership. Robert earned their MB BChir and PhD in Neurology from the University of Cambridge, alongside additional qualifications in pharmaceutical medicine and general medicine. They continue to enhance their clinical skills through their role as an Honorary Senior Clinical Fellow in Neurology at East Hertfordshire NHS Trust.
