Simon Smith is currently the Technical Director at GSK, where they also serve as the Oral Solid Dose Manufacturing Science & Technology Director and the Oral Solid Dose Product Owner, providing technical leadership for three solid dose products. Prior to their current role, Simon worked as a New Product Introduction Technical Manager at GlaxoSmithKline from 2017 to 2021 and as a Product Technologist for Oral Solid Dose from 2009 to 2012. Simon began their career as a Logistics Coordinator at Cork International from 2000 to 2001. They earned a 1st Class Honors Degree in Pharmaceutical Science from London Metropolitan University between 2002 and 2008.
