Stephen Baker

Stephen Baker is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as a Program Leader in Infectious Diseases Research at GSK since 2025. They previously held the position of Head of Chemistry at Reactive Biosciences from 2022 to 2025 and served as Sr Director of Novel Platforms Immunology Discovery at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, Stephen worked at GlaxoSmithKline as Head of Medicinal Chemistry in the Antibacterial DPU from 2013 to 2020 and was the Director of R&D Program Management at Anacor Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from 2003 to 2013. Stephen earned their education at the University of Sussex, where they studied from 1991 to 1997.
