Stephen Mitchell

Stephen Mitchell is a retired Compliance and Quality Manager who worked at GlaxoSmithKline from 2006 until June 2023. As a subject matter expert in Good Distribution Practice and Quality Compliance, they led GDP and quality compliance for GSK's End to End Logistics partnership. Stephen is a Fellow of the Chartered Quality Institute and a Green Belt in Lean Sigma, with extensive experience in supplier auditing and quality management systems. They have regularly spoken at pharmaceutical supply chain conferences and recently led a cross-industry team to update the Pharmaceutical Quality Group's Guide on Good Distribution Practice. Stephen holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of London.
