Julia Shub has over two decades of work experience in the field of technology and engineering. Julia started their career in 1997 as a Software Engineer at Gilat Satellite Networks, where they led the development team for the FaraWayTM Network Management System. Julia also played a key role in the development and testing of the DialAwayTM Network Management System.
In 2000, Julia joined XACCT Technologies as a Software Engineer, where they designed and developed software modules for real-time data capture and enhancement for service providers. Julia conducted research on technologies and devices specifications to ensure seamless integration and provided technical escalation for support engineers.
Julia then moved to Cisco in 2003 as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they oversaw all aspects of the Subscriber Management Product lifecycle and was responsible for product releases and planning. Julia worked closely with account teams to ensure customer success in pre-sales and post-sales engagements.
In 2015, Julia joined Vidyo as an API Solutions Engineer, where they contributed to the development and enhancement of API solutions. Julia transitioned to Nexmo, the Vonage API Platform, in 2017 as a Senior PreSales Engineer. At Nexmo, they provided communication platform integration solutions using SMS, voice, messaging, and video for consumer-facing brands.
Julia joined Kaltura in 2019 as the Head of Enterprise Solutions Engineering and led the team in providing enterprise solutions for clients. Julia then served as the Head of Solutions Engineering NORAM at MessageBird in 2021, where they were responsible for overseeing solutions engineering operations in North America.
Currently, Julia holds the position of Senior Solutions Engineer at Glean, starting in April 2023.
Julia Shub has a diverse education history. In 2012, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition Services from Montclair State University. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, they attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and earned a B.Sc. in Nutrition. Before pursuing their career in nutrition, Julia completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo, from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, they obtained a B.A. in Computer Science from the same institution during the same time period.
In terms of certifications, Julia has completed the Customer Centric Selling program offered by CustomerCentric Selling®. Julia has also obtained a Tennis Instructor certification from The Zinman College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at The Wingate Institute.
