Tyler Yang

Tyler Yang is a software engineer currently working at Glean since June 2025, focusing on data foundation and connectors. Previously, Tyler was employed at Cloudera from January 2022 to May 2025, where contributions included work in AI infrastructure, particularly in large language model operations and distributed systems. Earlier experience includes an internship at Cloudera AI, where Tyler gained skills in Go programming and Kubernetes, as well as a research position at Water@UW-Madison, focusing on pipeline load balancing and heuristic evaluation using Python and graph algorithms. Tyler also completed a research internship at the Center for Genetics and Society, concentrating on gene policy. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, followed by a Master's degree in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, expected to be completed in May 2025.
