Joanne Schmidt

Joanne Schmidt has extensive experience in curation and collections management, currently serving as the Acting Curator and Collections Technician at Glenbow Museum since February 2010. Prior experience includes a role as Curatorial Assistant at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where Joanne Schmidt contributed to the exhibition "Writing with Thread" by assisting with Mandarin translation, research, and installation. Additionally, Joanne Schmidt worked as a Collections Assistant at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, focusing on inventory and exhibition research. Joanne Schmidt holds degrees from the University of Calgary and the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
