Sameer Morar

Sameer Morar is a process engineer with over nine years of experience at Mount Isa Mines, where they were involved in production planning and technical project delivery. They currently lead the Process Engineering team in Glencore Zinc's Capital Studies and Projects team. Prior to this role, Sameer held various positions, including Superintendent of Planning and Projects at Glencore and Metallurgist at the University of Cape Town. They also completed a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, focusing on machine vision in mineral flotation systems. Earlier in their career, Sameer worked as a Research Assistant and contributed to the development of innovative systems for flotation performance analysis.
