Alex Hall

Alex Hall is a Senior Engineering Specialist at Glencore since June 2017, where involvement includes the development of major capital infrastructure for the Onaping Depth deposit. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Mining Engineer at Itasca Consulting Canada Inc. from July 2011 to June 2017, focusing on both underground and open pit mining projects, emphasizing geomechanics and mine design. Previous positions include Shaft Sinking Supervisor and Mining Engineer - Planner at PotashCorp, and Mining Engineer EIT at Vale. Alex Hall also completed a Mine Engineering Co-op Term with The Mosaic Company. Education includes a Master’s degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Laurentian University, a Bachelor’s degree from Dalhousie University, and a Certificate of Applied Science from Acadia University.
