Anton Carstens has over 10 years of experience in delivering internal audit services in various sectors. Anton has worked as a Senior Group Internal Auditor and Financial Controller at Altron, where Anton managed internal audit work and the administration of the Pension Fund. In their role at Grant Thornton UK LLP, Anton was responsible for managing outsourced internal audit and risk management work for clients in different industries. Currently, at Glencore, Anton holds the positions of Audit and Assurance Manager, Head of Compliance Risk and Monitoring, and Regional Audit Manager - Industrial Operations. Anton holds a BTECH in Internal Auditing/Financial Accounting from Tshwane University of Technology and is a Certified Internal Auditor from the Institute of Internal Auditors.
