Arlen Schmidt

Arlen Schmidt, CFA, is the Head of Treasury at Glencore USA, where they lead the Treasury team in New York and support the oil and metals marketing desks in the region. Prior to this role, Arlen worked at Glencore in various capacities, including as Group Treasury and Capital Markets in Switzerland and as Regional Treasury Lead in Australia. Arlen's earlier experience includes positions as Treasury Analyst and Treasury Manager at Boral. They hold a Master's degree in Professional Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor's degree in Economics with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney.
