Brayden Burchmann

Brayden Burchmann is a Mining Engineer with extensive experience in geotechnical engineering, currently employed at Glencore since May 2021. Prior roles at Glencore Zinc from October 2016 to January 2021 included serving as both a Geotechnical Engineer and Acting Senior Geotechnical Engineer, where Brayden led a team and ensured compliance with the Ground Control Management Plan. Previous experience includes a position as a Geotechnical Engineer where mentoring of graduate engineers was a key responsibility, along with conducting technical analysis for various projects. Earlier roles include a Geotechnical Vacation Student position at Anglo American and a Vacation Student role at Jellinbah Resources Pty Ltd. Brayden holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) with a dual major in Mining and Geotechnical Engineering from The University of Queensland and has participated in a summer school program at the China University of Mining and Technology.
