David Webb

David Webb is an experienced mining engineer with a career spanning over three decades in the mining industry, currently serving as Principal Mining Engineer at GlencoreXstrata since May 2013. Previous roles include Technical Services Manager at Xstrata Coal NSW and Vale - Integra Coal, as well as Ventilation and Gas Drainage Engineer at Centennial Coal. Early career experience includes various engineering and managerial positions at Hilti Australia, Xstrata Coal Australia, BMA Coal, BHP Illawarra Collieries, and Clutha Coal. David holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining from the University of Wollongong, and additional graduate diplomas in Coal Mine Strata Control and Mine Ventilation from UNSW.
