Emma Smith

Emma Smith is a Dispatch Supervisor at Glencore since May 2018 and holds a similar position at Yancoal Australia Ltd, alongside previous roles as MM&C Dispatch Officer. Additionally, Emma serves as a Communications Volunteer for the NSW Rural Fire Service. Prior experience includes working as an RTCA Dispatch Officer at Rio Tinto and in production systems at Rio Tinto Coal Australia. Emma possesses a strong background in SAP, cost control, knowledge management, administration, project management, and fatigue management technology. Emma is pursuing an Associate Degree of Engineering (Mining) at the University of Southern Queensland, with a previous Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from Southern Cross University.
