Farit T.

Farit T. has extensive experience in the finance and resource sectors, currently serving as Asset Manager for Zinc at Glencore since June 2013, with directorial roles on the boards of Zhairem GOK, Altyntau Kokshetau, and Kazzinc Holdings. Prior experience includes advising the CEO and heading the Almaty representative office at Kazzinc, and directing strategic development and M&A at Altyntau Resources JSC, both Glencore subsidiaries. Farit T. has a background in relationship banking from RBS Global Banking & Markets and ABN AMRO Bank N.V., focusing on large metals and mining clients in Kazakhstan. Early career experience includes banking supervision at the National Bank of Kazakhstan. Farit T. holds an MBA in Finance from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a BoS in Audit and Accounting, Banking from Almaty State University.
