Jack Burrows

Jack Burrows is an experienced Risk Manager currently working at Glencore in Houston, specializing in the US domestic and export crude oil markets. Previously, Jack was a Co-Founder of Emerging FinSights, where the company grew to over 25 student employees under Jack's leadership, managing various aspects including website development and product engagement strategy. Earlier experience includes serving as a Junior Data Scientist at Acin, analyzing operational risk data for major financial institutions using Python and SQL, and enhancing backend automation through machine and deep learning techniques. Jack holds an MSc in Financial and Computational Mathematics from the University of Nottingham and a BSc in Physics from the University of Leeds, complemented by A-Levels in Mathematics, Physics, Economics, and Chemistry from Rushcliffe Spencer Academy.
