Mark Detzler

Mark Detzler is an experienced mine systems engineering professional currently serving as the Mine Systems Engineering Lead and Ventilation Specialist at Glencore's Kidd Creek Mine since April 2019. In this role, Mark leads the Ventilation Department and previously held the position of Lead Mine Services Technician, overseeing ventilation technicians and providing training within the Mine Technical Services Department. Mark's foundational experience includes roles as an Underground Surveyor at Pan American Silver Corp., Core Technician/Diamond Drill Surveyor at McEwen Mining Inc., and a Summer Student at Gowest Gold, where responsibilities spanned the Ventilation and Survey departments. Mark holds an Honours Diploma in Mine Engineering Technician from Northern College of Applied Arts and Technology.
