Nathan Cahill

Nathan Cahill serves as the Global Head of Health, Safety & Environment for Copper at Glencore, holding various leadership roles since joining the company in November 2011. Responsibilities include overseeing assurance services for the board of directors, advising on strategic risks, and leading global teams in Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) assurance programs. Nathan's experience extends to roles in risk management within North Queensland Copper Operations, where management of safety assurance programs aligned with international guidelines was paramount. Nathan's educational background includes a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Laws from QUT, along with qualifications in risk management and occupational health and safety. Prior positions include health and safety advisory roles at Thiess and Stoneworld, as well as earlier management experience in production and sales.
