Nicolas Verdier

Nicolas VERDIER is a professional with extensive experience in business development and project management within the mining and recycling sectors. Currently serving in a business development role at Glencore since October 2022, Nicolas focuses on nickel and lithium-ion battery recycling. Previously, at Eramet, Nicolas held the position of Senior Officer in Partnerships & Strategy, where responsibilities included nickel and lithium recycling initiatives, as well as managing corporate strategy and investor relations. As the Founder and Director of V-SHAPE from November 2016 to December 2018, Nicolas offered consultancy services in mining, encompassing project execution strategies and technical due diligence. Additional experience includes serving as Industrial Projects Manager at La Mancha, Offer Manager at Framatome, and Project Manager at Orano, where significant projects in uranium mining were managed. Nicolas holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris, an Advanced Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from Babson College, and a civil engineering degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy.
