Øivind Stenstad is currently the Safety Lead for Glencore Nickel - Zinc and has been with Glencore since 2025. Previously, Øivind served as Vice President of HSEC at Glencore Nickel from 2019 to 2025 and as General Manager at Glencore Nikkelverk AS from 2008 to 2019. Øivind is pursuing a Master of Management at Handelshøyskolen BI and holds a degree in Chemical Engineering Technology from NTH. With extensive experience in global leadership in health, safety, and environmental management, Øivind has worked across multiple regions, including Canada, Norway, Australia, Europe, and New Caledonia, within a workforce of 7,500 employees.
