Rono Sinha

Rono Sinha, CPA, has extensive experience in financial management and analysis, currently serving as the Controller for the Nickel Department and Head of IT at Glencore Nickel since May 2013. Sinha leads the consolidation, reporting, budgeting, and analysis for Glencore’s nickel assets across four countries, responsible for revenues totaling $2.8 billion. Previously, Sinha held key positions at Xstrata Nickel, including Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and Projects, where significant improvements in forecasting processes were achieved, and as Risk Manager, successfully implementing enterprise risk management across nine countries. Experience also includes serving as Audit Manager at Falconbridge, leading IT Internal Audits, and as Finance Manager at GE Water, delivering substantial operating margins. Sinha's educational background includes a CPA designation and a degree from the University of Toronto.
