Samuel Hinds

Samuel Hinds is an experienced mining professional currently serving as a Production Supervisor at Glencore, overseeing surface and underground logistics at the Craig mine since May 2017. Previously, Samuel held positions as Engineering Supervisor for both Blasthole and Design Engineering and mine scheduling and underground survey departments at Nickel Rim South Mine. Early in the career, Samuel gained hands-on experience as a Miner C, operating remote-controlled rock breakers, and worked as an Underground Nipper and Mine Laborer. Prior to the current role, Samuel worked as a Mine Ventilation Technician at Levert Personnel Resources, ensuring compliance with ventilation and temperature surveys at KIDD Mine. Samuel began building a foundation in the mining industry as a summer student at Glencore, contributing to underground construction and shaft crew activities. Education was completed at Cambrian College from 2013 to 2016.
