Sinan Liu

Sinan Liu has extensive experience in LNG trading and management, currently serving as Head of Short Term LNG - LNG East at Glencore since November 2018, where responsibilities include spot and short-term LNG trading and managing derivative exposures. Prior to this role, Sinan worked at Shell from October 2007 to November 2018, advancing through various positions including Senior LNG Account Manager and Front End Development Manager, focusing on LNG deal origination, terminal access projects, and large LNG supply negotiations. Notable achievements encompass leading major capital project developments and enhancing operational efficiencies at global LNG facilities. Sinan holds a Master of Engineering degree in Production System and Maintenance from Arts et Métiers and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
