Susan Rose

Susan Rose serves as the Deputy General Counsel for Glencore Coal Australia since March 2024. Previously, Susan held roles such as Company Secretary and Director at Polocrosse Australia from May 2019 to March 2024, and Interim Head of Legal APAC at Eku Energy for a brief period in 2023. Additional experience includes positions as Senior Lawyer at both Tattarang and Squadron Energy in 2022-2023, Group Counsel for HSE, Approvals & People at AGL Energy from June 2017 to July 2022, and Corporate Lawyer focusing on Regulatory & Community at Origin Energy from April 2014 to May 2017. Earlier in Susan's career, positions included Principal Legal Officer at the NSW Department of Planning and Environment, Senior Associate at Norton Rose Fulbright (previously Deacons Australia), and Legal Officer at the Department of Environment and Climate Change NSW. Susan holds a Bachelor of Natural Resources (Honours) in Environmental Science and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of New England.
