Deric Newman is an experienced professional in the landscape management industry, currently serving as Head of Development for Estate Services at Glendale since December 2020. In this role, Deric promotes a range of environmental and landscape management services throughout the UK, focusing on enhancing green spaces for both public and private enjoyment. Prior to this position, Deric held various roles at Civic Trees, including General Manager and Sales Manager, where responsibilities included supplying and relocating large trees and shrubs across commercial, private, and public sectors. Additionally, Deric contributed as Honorary Secretary for TringRugby from 2004 to 2014 and participated as a stand-up comedian at the Tringe 2013 Comedy Festival. Educational qualifications include HNDs in Landscape Contract Management from Kingston University and Merrist Wood College, along with a foundational education at Tring School and the University of Greenwich.
