John Ryan

John Ryan is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and software development. As the Director of Engineering for Search and Recommendations at GLG since February 2009, John leads a global team in delivering advanced AI search capabilities utilizing techniques such as OpenAI ChatGPT and natural language processing. Previously, John held roles including Principal Software Engineer at Dell and Senior Software Engineer positions at various companies, including Rayn Computing Ltd and Pioneer Investments Ltd. John also served as Owner and Founder at Susquehanna International Group and System Architect at Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority. John’s academic credentials include a Master's degree in Security and Forensic Computing from Dublin City University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Stockbroking Investment from Dublin Business School, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science & Software Engineering from Technological University Dublin.
