Michael Vos

Michael Vos possesses over 28 years of extensive experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as a Network Member and Consultant at GLG, where Michael utilizes in-depth industry knowledge to address complex client challenges. Previously, as the Head of Investments for Bupa in the APAC region, Michael focused on enhancing returns through collaborations with external asset managers. At Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, Michael held the position of Regional Chief Investment Officer for Asia Pacific, leading a team managing approximately USD 12 billion in assets. Michael also served as Chief Operating Officer for Investment Management, overseeing a USD 200 billion asset base and managing significant investment income and expenses. Earlier roles at AMP included Head of Capital Management and Corporate Strategy Analyst. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Macquarie University, a Master’s Degree in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia, and recently completed the Company Directors Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
