Paul Eke

Council Member

Paul Eke, PhD, CEng, CEnv, CMC, FSEE, and FIMC, serves as a Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professor at the University of Leeds, enhancing engineering education through industry-academia partnerships. With extensive experience as a Council Member for the Gerson Lehrman Group, Paul provides consulting services to leaders across various sectors in the energy industry. Paul founded the Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) & Hydrogen Network, developing a significant online community focused on energy transition technologies. As Executive Director at Peprime, Paul directs technical activities and strategic relationships within the petroleum supply chain. Paul has held various consulting roles, including Principal Engineering Consultant at Repsol and Aker Solutions, and Principal Consultant at ERM, contributing to projects aimed at emission reduction and low-carbon energy solutions. Paul’s academic credentials include a PhD in Engineering from The University of Edinburgh, an MSc in Oil & Gas Engineering from Robert Gordon University, and a B.Eng in Chemical Engineering from Enugu State University of Science and Technology.
