David Smart

David Smart is the Founder of Glic, providing resources and skills to help organisations flourish, particularly in rural locations. With experience as a Consultant at Appetite for Business, Associate Consultant at Collinson Grant, Associate at Tuminds, and Mentor at Peoplematters (UK), David brings expertise in process re-engineering, lean operations, social media strategies, and coaching. David has also held positions such as Chairman and Vice Chairman at Mid Argyll Chamber of Commerce and Head of Special Projects at Highlands and Islands Enterprise. Additionally, David has a background in manufacturing engineering and management from Leeds Beckett University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
