David Siegel has had a long and successful career in technology. David started as a Prototype Engineer at Idealab in 2008, before moving to Google in 2006 where they worked as a software engineering intern on Google Talk. In 2007, they authored and maintained an open-source project named “Do”. David then worked at Canonical as a User Experience Designer for Ubuntu from 2009 to 2011. During this time, they spearheaded the Papercuts project, which resulted in over 250 user experience bugs being fixed in Ubuntu. In 2010, they founded the Honduras Lab Project, and in 2011 they became the VP of Product at X1 Technologies. From 2012 to 2016, they were the Head of Design at Xamarin, and in 2016 they became the Head of Design and Developer Services at Microsoft. David then founded Glide in 2018 and currently serves as its CEO.
David Siegel received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008.
