Mark Stoter OBE has had a successful career in the military and technology sectors. In 1999, they began their career as a British Army Officer with the UK Ministry of Defence, where they were recognized for driving technological change across special operations, cyber, and intelligence. Mark was credited with delivering complex business change, including the creation of a specialist regiment, the transformation of the Army's cyber regiment, and the modernisation of the Army's digital skills and careers. In 2019, they co-founded and became the CEO of Glimpse Protocol, inventors of the Glimpse patent-pending platform for privacy-preserving interaction online. In 2021, they became an investor with FirstPartyCapital.

Mark Stoter OBE's education history includes a BSc in Psychology from the University of York between 1994 and 1997, followed by a stint at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst between 1998 and 1999. In 2013, they obtained a Masters of Military and Defence Studies from The Australian National University. Finally, between 2016 and 2019, they obtained an MSc in Cyber Defence and Information Assurance from Cranfield University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from The Institute of Directors, (ISC)², and AXELOS Global Best Practice, respectively in 2020, 2019, and 2017.
