Sandy Krieger was Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. During a 33-year career at the Bank, Sandy also held senior positions in financial markets, monetary policy implementation, central bank lending operations, and systemic risk in payments, clearing, and settlement. Sandy is currently the principal of Sandy Krieger Solutions and a member of the Office of Financial Research’s Financial Research Advisory Committee. Sandy holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego, and a B.A. from Wesleyan University.
