Rahul Devaskar

Rahul Devaskar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investment, community relations, and program management. Currently serving as a Senior Investment Officer at Global Affairs Canada, Rahul leads foreign direct investment initiatives in the San Francisco area while managing a substantial budget targeting key sectors such as electric vehicles and semiconductors. Previous roles include Director of Partnerships & Memberships at Asia Society Northern California, where Rahul oversaw multiple revenue streams, and Director of Community Relations for San Jose Earthquakes Soccer, where significant COVID-19 response initiatives and DEI programs were developed. Rahul's background also includes work with America SCORES Bay Area, Columbia Land Trust, and the Green Sports Alliance, showcasing a commitment to community engagement and sustainability. Rahul holds a Master’s Degree in Sports Management from Birkbeck, University of London, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and International Relations from the University of California, Davis.
