Robert Geist has extensive experience in information security, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Global Blue since July 2009, where previous roles included AVP, IT Security and Manager, IT Security. Prior to this, Robert held the position of Security Manager & Teamleader System Administration at Interwetten Group from 2005 to 2009. Robert's career in system operations spanned several companies from 1997 to 2005. Robert is certified as a Payment Card Industry Internal Security Assessor by the PCI Security Standards Council, and holds an IS-Manager ISO27001 designation from CIS Austria. Additionally, Robert has completed the SEC 511 course in Continuous Monitoring and Security Operations at the SANS Institute.
