Notable positions include serving as a Partner at Rakuten Ventures, where responsibilities encompassed managing a JPY 10 billion fund and engaging in global deal sourcing and execution. In the Corporate Development Department at Rakuten, Hogil was involved in M&A activities and project management, leading the deal process through valuation and negotiation.
