Suppliers of a superior high-performance deicing product that unleashes brine's melting power while curbing its environmental impact.
Global Commodity Distribution Inc. (GCD) is a vertically integrated company that manufactures and distributes liquid deicing materials and products for anti-icing, deicing, and product treatment. Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Chicago, GCD has a team of experienced professionals with more than 60 years of combined experience in snow and ice management and over 25 years of experience using liquid deicing products for commercial clients.

Global Commodity Distribution (GCD) manufactures and supplies ECO-SHIELD, a sustainable, eco-friendly, and economical deicing product designed to provide longer-lasting protection from freeze-bond to pavement surfaces and significantly reduce the corrosion rate of traditional sodium chloride (NaCl) brine. Developed with professional snow and ice managers in mind, ECO-SHIELD uses a proprietary blend of carbohydrates and corrosion inhibitors to maximize brine performance.

ECO-SHIELD is a high-performance, odorless, and translucent enhancer that improves the melting capacity of traditional chloride deicers by slowing the ice recrystallization rate as the brine dilutes during and after a snow and ice event. Using industry-proven ingredients, ECO-SHIELD provides snow and ice professionals with a powerful, consistent, reliable, and environmentally responsible deicing product.
