David Carman

David Carman has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. David began their career as a Trader at the Chicago Board Options Exchange from 1978 to 1997. Following this, they worked as a Trader at Bright Trading from 1998 to 2005.

In 2005, David founded Business Network Chicago (BNC) and served as the Founder/CEO. BNC aimed to facilitate networking and mutually beneficial relationships among business professionals in various sectors. David continued in this role until December 2020.

In 2006, David co-founded the BNC Venture Forum, where they introduced investment opportunities to accredited investors through monthly pitching sessions.

In 2017, David co-founded FinTank, where they held the role of Co-Founder/Managing Director. FinTank organized monthly meetings, major conferences, and also provided incubation support to FinTech startups across multiple sectors.

Most recently, in 2020, David assumed the role of Co-Founder/Board Director at the Global Digital Asset & Cryptocurrency Association. The association aims to develop and advocate for a regulatory framework that promotes innovation, fair and orderly markets, and economic opportunities in the global digital economy.

David Carman attended Highland Park High School from 1967 to 1971. David then went on to pursue higher education at Washington University in St. Louis, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree between 1971 and 1975. The field of study for their Bachelor's degree is not specified.
