The Global Diversity Alliance (GDA) is an international organization committed to advancing lived diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) in the global meetings, events, and tourism industries.

With members across the United States, Europe, Africa, and beyond, GDA represents a global movement that views diversity not as an add-on, but as a core business imperative and strategic asset. The organization brings together professionals, changemakers, and allies to create equitable structures, inclusive experiences, and industry-wide transformation.

Under the leadership of President Tanja Bauer-Glück, a seasoned tourism professional and business and leadership coach, GDA sets a new benchmark for inclusive excellence—focusing on structural impact rather than surface-level representation. GDA's work centers on:
🔹 Providing tools and training for inclusive event and destination design
🔹 Supporting diverse professionals through mentoring and leadership development
🔹 Advising organizations on DEIB-compliant strategies and accountability structures
🔹 Building a global network committed to systemic change and authentic belonging

The Alliance actively works to dismantle barriers, promote cultural intelligence, and embed dignity and equity across all areas of industry practice. GDA's vision is to position itself as the leading global voice for DEIB in tourism and events—where diversity is expected, inclusion is embodied, and belonging is built by design.
