Darren McDonald

Darren McDonald is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the financial services and e-commerce sectors. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Global-e since January 2022, Darren continues the role post the Flow Commerce acquisition, where Darren worked from August 2017 to January 2022. Prior to this, positions included Vice President Programmer at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, focusing on global equities post-trade processing, and multiple senior developer roles at prominent financial institutions like Insight Investment, HSBC, Royal Bank of Scotland, Lehman Brothers, Bank of America, CSFB, and Deutsche Bank, specializing in Java and Scala development for various trading and payment systems. Darren holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer and Information Science from the University of South Australia.
